We are pregnant!
Today I found out I am pregnant! It said pregnant! I was in shock!!
No way, I cried like in disbelief, shock, happy, so many mixed emotions.
I knelt down and thanked my father in Heaven. Then I called the doctor
and went in and got a pregnancy test with them, because I didn’t believe I was
pregnant. The test came back positive at the doctors. I started to cry. The
cute nurse gave me a kleenex. I started stressing out when she said you are
probably 8 ½ weeks along, because I had no idea how long it had been. So, I got my blood work done and they schedule an ultra sound on
February 22n.
So, now I had to figure out
how to tell Matt!!! I went to the store and got a boy and girl balloon and a
congrats balloon. I also, got fortune cookie, and some Chinese food. I came
home and decorated the table with the balloons, and baby shower napkins, and
bear. I tied the balloons to the pregnancy test and put it in a bag on the
table. I warmed up the fortune cookie and put a little strip of paper I had
made that said I love you forever, and we are pregnant!!!!! I was so excited
waiting for Matt to come home! I greeted him at the door, I asked him to open the fortune cookie, as he
read We are Pregnant, he looked shocked and I got a picture of it! He was like
really? I started to cry and he hugged me and started to cry. We are so blessed and so grateful that we
have the opportunity to be pregnant! I know that faithful actions bring about
miracles.

Cedar City 2010-2011
We left Wymount in July 2010 and moved to Cedar City Utah!!! Matt was doing a full time externship at SUU's Counseling Center. We moved into a townhome that was HUGE compared to what we had lived in for 4 years before. Here are some pictures of our place.

We did some fun things in Cedar City while we were there.
We went several times to the St. George Temple and were asked to be the witness couple at least 7 times! What a blessing.

We went to Tuacahn and saw Crazy for You! It was a perfect night.

Given got Baptized in September so we drove to Idaho Falls to celebrate.

For Spring Break Melanie’s family came to visit! We went to Snow Canyon and the Petroglyphs in Parowan. We had a blast!

For Easter Mom and Dad Hatch and Grandma Barrus came to Visit.
We went to Zions National Park and saw some AMAZING things! Then Dad Hatch and Matt went and test drove a Dodge Charger! SWEEEETTTTT!!!!

Our Goal was to get to the Las Vegas Temple. We made it and also visited the M&M Store, and ate at the Hard Rock Café.

Lake Powell was another one of our destinations. We camped and spent the day on a tour boat and visiting the dam. It is such a beautiful place. We also hiked Horse Shoe Bend. Here are a few shots from our campsite, and our Lake Powell experience.

In June Matt participated in the Summer Games again this year! He did the High Jump, 5,000 meters, and 800 meters and he medaled in all of them! Way to go
