Getting Older!

Matt threw a SURPRISE Party for me on Thursday for my Birthday!
He seems to make my Birthday's memorable. 5 years ago he proposed on my B-day.
Thanks Matt for being so Thoughtful! I am so blessed to be married to you!

Graduate

I had my first graduate come to Salt Lake City for graduation on the 18th of July!
It was great to finally meet her! Her name is Nancy Shaffer. She lives in Washington state and graduated in 2 years with her bachelors degree in elementary education! She was an amazing student!

Christmas in July

We had family come out for Christmas in July! We had a great time.

There were a couple people put in charge of each day.
The first day we went up to Brighton at a cabin and spent the day fishing, playing games, a special devotional and tons of fun!

The second day we went to Kearns waterpark and spent the day hanging out. Here are the pictures of the crazy boys who jumped off the high dive! Grant my brother got a bloody nose from jumping off the high dive. Kaleb who is only 2 went down the big waterslide all by himself!!

The last day we were together we went to the Zoo! We had a blast!

Sunburned

Matt and I went waterskiing with family!
We had a great time!! Since it was my second time waterskiing I didn't have as much success as he did. We also got burnt to a crisp (we left those pictures out)!

If you will notice there are no pictures of me slaloming. I almost lost my shorts on the knee board. I wasn't about to loose anything else.

Dear, Deer!

Matt has found another Deer in his life! We live close to the mountains and there is a little patch of grass right behind one of the apartment buildings. Every time we drive past, Matt checks to see if there is a deer there. Usually there is one or two! A couple of times we have had our camera and so he has taken a few shots of the deer.

We love living close to the mountains. It is such beautiful scenery and reminds of of God's love and power.

Strechy Pants Softball

Go Strechy Pants!! It has been fun the past two summers to play in the ward softball team! What a great group of guys! We have some real sluggers!

Mini Vacation Extended

On Friday we slept in and watched another movie! Then we went to Red Lobster and shared crab, shrimp, and more crab!! Then we went shopping to look for a few mothers day presents and once again found some good deals. Matt wanted to take a shot at the batting cages at Trafalga so we decided to go and have a little fun! We raced video game cars, and tested our skills at the Ski Ball! I earned enough tickets for a Scooby necklace! I felt like a teenager again! It was so much fun!

Mini Vacation

Matt and I decided after he had finished Winter term at BYU to go celebrate all of his hard work. So we went to Inn on the Creek in Midway and spent a couple of days!We went Shopping in Park City, which Matt just loved and we found some really good deals! Matt even found a shirt for 2.00 at the Gap!! He is getting the hang of things! :)

We went to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays and then went back to the Chalet at Inn on the Creek and watched a movie, played games, and had a relaxing time! Here are a few pictures of our little excursion!
